Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VirgilHQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit virgilhq.com (the "Site") or purchase our products. We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
VirgilHQ is the data controller for personal information collected through this Site.
- Trading name: VirgilHQ
- Contact address: Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom
- Email: virgil@virgilhq.com
2. What we collect
a. Information you give us
- Email address — when you request the free AI Agent Workforce Guide or buy The Life-Changing AI Blueprint.
- Name and billing details — when you make a purchase (handled by Stripe; we do not see your card number).
- Messages you send us — when you contact us by email.
b. Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address (truncated where possible), browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on site.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel data — if you consent to cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. This may include hashed versions of your email address (known as "Advanced Matching") to help Meta match your activity to your Meta account. See section 5 below.
- Google Analytics data — if you consent to cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the Site (which pages are visited, how long for, which steps of the funnel convert). See section 5 below.
- Cookies — see our cookie section below.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Send you the free guide or paid products you requested.
- Send you follow-up emails about our products (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Process payments and deliver digital products.
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising.
- Improve the Site and respond to your questions.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
4. Lawful bases for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent — for email marketing and non-essential cookies (including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics).
- Contract — to deliver products you have paid for.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Site secure and prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax and accounting law.
5. Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Analytics & advertising
When enabled, the Meta Pixel collects information about your visit (such as pages viewed, form submissions and purchases) and sends it to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. We also use a feature called Advanced Matching, which sends a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email address to Meta so it can match ad interactions with your Meta account more accurately. This is used to:
- Measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads;
- Build audiences of similar people to show our ads to; and
- Show you relevant follow-up ads ("retargeting").
Meta acts as an independent data controller for the data it processes. You can read Meta's privacy policy here: facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can control how Meta uses your data in your Ad Preferences.
We also use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type, and the events described above (signups, plan generations, downloads, purchases). IP addresses are anonymised and we have disabled Google Signals. Google acts as a processor for the analytics data. Read Google's privacy policy here: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following service providers who help us run our business:
- MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ireland) — email delivery and list management. Privacy policy.
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd) — payment processing. We never see your full card number. Privacy policy.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — advertising measurement (only with your cookie consent). Privacy policy.
- Google Ireland Limited — web analytics via Google Analytics 4 (only with your cookie consent). Privacy policy.
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA) — website hosting. Privacy policy.
Where data is transferred outside the UK (for example to the USA), we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses to keep your data protected.
7. Cookies
We use two kinds of cookies/technologies on this Site:
- Essential cookies — remember your cookie choice. These do not require consent.
- Analytics & advertising cookies — the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 (described above). These load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site, which will show the banner again.
8. How long we keep your data
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then a short period for suppression lists.
- Purchase records: at least 6 years, to comply with UK tax law.
- Website analytics: up to 2 years.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct or delete it;
- Object to or restrict how we use it;
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior lawful processing);
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
To exercise any of these rights, email virgil@virgilhq.com. You can reach the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
10. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe on their PCI-DSS compliant systems. We do our best to protect your data, but no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
11. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent version.
